I love information about stuff that I enjoy learning about. One of my favorite things to do on the internet is to look at articles about food, fitness, health, and over-all wellbeing. My friends will attest to the fact that I have some new-bit-of-information-that’s-just-so-exciting-I-have-to-share-it… every half hour or so. I just get so excited about new information! And yes, yes, I realize you’re supposed to be an inquiring sceptic when it comes to “new studies” but it’s still really cool, right? Even if it hasn’t been replicated yet?
For added dramatic affect, I will pose my (self-described) cool information in the form questions.
1) Confused about when you should go to the ER, doctor, or simply treat yourself at home?
Here is a handy guide.
2) Can birth order and birth month affect your allergies?
3) Is it time to overhaul the Mental Health Care system for Veterans?
Absolutely! (And hire me once I have my Master’s please?)
4) Want to know what foods are extra-good for your brain?
Check out this cool slideshow.
5) Want to be happier?
First, check out my ex-professor’s book (ex as in I once took his class. He’s still teaching) The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt. I read it after taking the class and have been in amazement that I was with such an awesome professor for a semester.
If you don’t want to check out his book, check out this webpage that gives you the main points in a nutshell.
OK I could go on but I will end with just one last one:
